Leah Lever

Teenage soprano, Leah Lever was able to sing in tune and from memory by the time she was three years old. Even from birth, she was drawn to the beauty of classical music. Now at just 15 years of age, Leah gratefully finds herself the only child protege of world famous soprano Mirusia, who is helping guide Leah towards fulfilling her musical destiny.

Leah can sing all styles of music, but her heart lies in the classics ranging from opera to musicals and gentle ballads from the 1940s to 1960s.  She considers herself a singer of what she describes as vintage songs that tell a story with real emotion and enable Leah to truly immerse herself in song.

Leah has performed on some of the best and biggest stages in Queensland and New South Wales as a soloist, including the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre and Twin Towns. As Redlands Young Citizen of the Year, young Leah is dedicated to community service, singing regularly for charity fund raising events, the elderly and for children with special needs and has recently recorded her first EP with a view to launching a professional career.

Her dream is to one day perform on the international stage, but wherever life does take her, Leah will always maintain her humility and community spirit.
